Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned areas to provide maximum security visibility.
• Posts in areas or conducts patrols by vehicle or on foot.
• Controls access to buildings and parking areas; reports hazards and breaches.
• Administers visitor and materials pass programs to regulate access.
• Responds to security and emergency situations and provides escorts and directions.
• Completes security reports and maintains emergency equipment knowledge.
• Adheres to Memorial Hermann policies, operates within budget and ensures safe care.
• Supports professional development and acts as a mentor to less experienced staff.
• Demonstrates compassionate, personalized service to patients and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
