Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto), part of Sinai Health, is seeking a Service Assistant, Clinical Housekeeping Attendant. You will clean patient rooms, disinfect equipment, and support clinical teams to maintain a safe care environment.

This role offers flexible shifts and a part-time schedule within a busy hospital setting. You will work alongside clinical staff, manage routine cleaning, and engage in infection control efforts while adapting to changing priorities throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Experience in housekeeping preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform a variety of housekeeping activities to ensure a clean and safe patient care environment, including patient room cleaning, changing linen, disposing of waste, disinfection of equipment, touchpoints and surfaces within the patient spaces.
• Monitor unit inventory and restocks items as required.
• Execute routine and terminal cleaning of isolated areas.
• Conduct terminal cleaning of wards following outbreaks or increased evidence of infection.
• Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required
