Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Van Driver for its Brooklyn Park, MD location to provide safe, reliable transportation for clients in behavioral health and substance use treatment, ensuring on-time pickups, flexible support for program needs, and strict adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies. Hours are Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm.

The role requires operating 12-15 passenger vans, performing pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and driving record verification.
Previous experience driving passenger vans or working in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

Safely transport clients to and from treatment programs, medical appointments, and approved locations.
Operate 12–15 passenger vans in compliance with DOT/FMCSA and state regulations.
Maintain adherence to traffic laws, safety regulations, and transportation policies.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off schedules with flexibility for program needs.
Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
Document mileage, passenger logs, and incident reports.
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Support staff with basic client interactions during transport.
Participate in required safety and behavioral health training.
Uphold passenger safety protocols at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
