Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform Diagnostic Imaging exams across age groups. You will work under the direction of a Radiologist or manager, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.

Responsibilities include image evaluation, post-processing, and maintaining strict aseptic technique while delivering compassionate care within Wellstar's patient-family centered approach.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• BLS-Instructor or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams across setting while applying ALARA to minimize exposure.
• Evaluates image quality, post-processes data, and confirms patient identification.
• Delivers compassionate patient care and supports patient family-centered approach.
• Maintains patient safety and aseptic technique; responds effectively to emergencies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and adherence to protocols.
• Follows Wellstar Health System policies and standards.
