Job summary

Mercy Hospital Folsom is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. You will perform initial evaluations, develop and update plans of care, and provide direct treatments.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, meet productivity standards, educate patients and families, and document progress according to department guidelines. Candidates must have CA PT education, license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Physical Therapy degree program.
• CA Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide a variety of direct treatments and document progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families.
• Maintain patient care productivity and safety guidelines.
• Provide patient/family education and training.
