Responsibilities

• Performs patient identification and specimen labeling following SOPs.
• Obtains quality blood specimens using venipuncture or capillary methods.
• Performs and reports point-of-care testing (e.g., glucose) and quality control.
• Processes laboratory and patient reports per SOPs (printing, filing, distribution).
• Identifies problems, documents corrective actions, notifies supervisor when needed.
• Maintains effective communication across shifts to ensure timely workflow.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the department.
