Qualifications

• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Successful completion of a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHP or ABHES.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, web navigation, email, MS Office).
• Read/write/understand English and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation.
• Assist with procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., tympanometry, spirometry).
• Maintain aseptic techniques during preparation, procedures, and medication administration.
• Prepare and organize patient charts and documentation.
• Coordinate schedules and referrals; provide pre-/post-surgery information.
