Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center in Canby, OR is hiring a Medical Assistant (CMA) to deliver patient-centered care in a busy clinic. You will support exam rooms, perform essential tasks, and enter patient data into the EHR with accuracy and care.

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification. Primary care experience and Spanish language ability are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
  • Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred.
  • Certification in Medical Assistant and active BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-visit procedures, including chart prep and patient history gathering.
  • Greet and room patients in a professional manner.
  • Take vital signs and assist with exams and procedures.
  • Input patient information into EHR accurately and timely.
  • Administer medications as authorized and perform injections as trained.
  • Conduct phlebotomy and point-of-care testing as needed.
