Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an MA program or accredited school of medical assisting.
• Military Medic training or EMT-P certification acceptable.
• At least one year of MA experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient patient flow and prepares patients for visits.
• Performs EMR documentation and maintains the in-basket per policy.
• Maintains clean work environment and reports equipment issues.
• Communicates with patients in a respectful and caring manner.
• Supports care coordination and continuous quality improvement.
