Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Training program with externship or 6 months MA experience.
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient flow and exam room utilization by coordinating appointments and alerting providers of arrivals.
• Perform vital signs, screenings and point-of-care testing; document results in the EHR.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during and after procedures.
