Job summary

The Medical Assistant (MA) at Wellstar Health Systems provides support to physicians and other healthcare professionals by performing clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical setting. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA/NCMA/NCCT or similar credential preferred.
• Minimum experience in a physician practice setting is desirable.
• Strong English communication skills required, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and clinical staff.
• Record vital signs and patient information; prepare patients for visits and assist during treatments.
• Coordinate tests, follow-up care, and documentation in the medical record.
• Assist in front/back-office tasks including check-in/check-out when needed.
