Fairview Health Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator to support the MS5 Med-Surg Oncology unit in Burnsville, MN. You will provide patient care, vital signs, and environmental maintenance on a 12-hour night shift with every third weekend rotation.

Located on the 5th floor, this .6 FTE role emphasizes communication, charting, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients and families in a fast-paced oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Six months of direct care experience in long term, home care, or acute care settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal cares, vital signs, and daily activities.
• Document care provided and report changes to nurses.
• Interact with patients, families, and the health care team to support safety and comfort.
