Job summary

CHRISTUS Health Beaumont is seeking a team member to provide basic patient care under nursing direction, ensuring patient safety and well-being. This role participates in daily care tasks and supports the clinical team to maintain a calm, organized environment.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with eating, bathing, dressing, mobility, recording intake, monitoring vital signs, and supporting wound care as needed. The position is full-time, with day shifts from 7AM to 7PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake.
• Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors.
• Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.
