Job summary

RiseMe seeks a Nurse Technician to support patient care at Medical 5-Lake Main Campus in Baton Rouge. The role involves basic nursing tasks under RN supervision, assisting with ADLs, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The candidate should be a student nurse in good standing, enrolled in a nursing program (RN or LPN) with clinical rotations, and possess strong communication skills and medical terminology knowledge. BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Student nurse in good standing with required nursing program skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge under RN supervision.

• Transport and mobility assistance for patients.
• Maintain clean patient rooms and nursing station areas.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff; assist exams and tests.
• Adhere to hospital quality standards and procedures.
