HCA Healthcare, Inc. at Lee's Summit Medical Center seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nurses and deliver compassionate, hands-on care. You will assist with daily patient needs, vital signs, mobility, and personal care while helping monitor conditions and carry out care plans.

The role emphasizes teamwork, empathy, and a focus on restoring comfort and dignity to patients within a large community hospital network. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Competenze

• Basic Cardiac Life Support completed within 30 days of start date.
• Patient Care Tech Training or CNA certification within 60 days of start date.
• No prior experience required.

Mansioni

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.
