Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Unity Hospital to support the Surgical Telemetry department. You will perform basic patient care tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse, assist with room turnover, and ensure a safe, compassionate patient experience.

The role involves vitals, hygiene, and patient assistance, with rotating day/evening/night shifts and weekends. A minimum of 18 years old and an associates degree are preferred, with CNA or Nursing Fundamentals

Qualifikationen

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Associates degree preferred; Nursing Fundamentals or CNA certification encouraged.
• Experience as a medical assistant/technician is a plus.

• Assist with basic patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs, hygiene, and comfort.
• Prepare rooms, stock supplies, and assist with admissions and discharges.
• Support patient safety and comfort, ambulation, and use of lift devices where appropriate.
• Perform routine tasks such as specimen collection and routine monitoring under supervision.
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients and families.
