Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) for day shifts with up to a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Under the supervision of nursing staff, you will provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, checking dressings, assisting with activities of daily living, performing blood draws, and specimen collection. You will observe patient conditions, communicate findings, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing tests and managing patient care based on results and clinical findings.
• Documenting activities such as ADLs, vital signs, and patient status.
• Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensuring patient safety, promoting comfort, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Providing wound care, specimen collection, and device management.
• Participating in hourly rounding and responding to alarms.
• Reporting safety risks and adverse events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
