Job summary

HealthTronics is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Reading, PA. You will manage medical equipment and supplies and support patient treatments under experienced urologists, with paid training and company-sponsored licensing for the right candidate.

You’ll assist during procedures, prepare sterile supplies, monitor inventory, restock URS equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of patient care or operating room experience preferable.
• Meet credentialing requirements for healthcare facilities.
• Obtain and maintain laser certifications as required by law.
• Maintain current CPR certification and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist urologist during procedures following sterile technique.
• Prepare sterile surgical supplies for required cases.
• Ensure equipment needed for patient care is available (e.g., holmium laser, URS cart).
• Monitor and restock supplies for scheduled procedures and URS supplies.
• Order supplies, sterile and non-sterile for facilities.
• Maintain inventory levels and track orders.
