Sentara is currently hiring a Patient Care Technician to work at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, on the Surgery Unit.
Hours/Shift:
Full-time, nights. 7pm to 7am
Department/Position Overview:
On the SPAH 5A OrthoJoint/Spine Unit, we provide exceptional care for elective joint and spine patients in addition to other medical-surgical patients. Our devotion to providing quality care with compassion is proven by our achieving the 95th percentile in 2022 on our patient experience survey. As aPatient Care Technicianwith Sentara, you will have the opportunity to learn many new skills. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission/discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients, drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to provide the best care for our patients.
