Job summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo will provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN or LPN. Work with the Operating Room Team from 1:00pm to 9:30pm on weekdays in a full-time role in Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring changes in patient conditions, and ensuring patient safety. The position offers on-the-job training, potential CNA preference, and a path to career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and equipment/supplies preferred.
• CNA preferred and ND Nurse Aide Registry involvement if not CNA.

Qualifications

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.
