You will provide nursing care, including taking blood pressure, checking oxygen levels and temperature, and assisting patients with bathing, meals, toileting, ambulation, and other basic needs. The role may also involve one-on-one care for patients on suicide or safety precautions.

Patient Care Technician/Nursing Assistant duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing basic nursing care and performing advanced technical skills for various age groups.
• Transporting patients, supplies, specimens, and equipment within the facility.
• Documenting and reporting patient observations to licensed staff appropriately.
• Contributing to performance improvement activities.
• Reviewing medical records for outstanding orders and processing equipment between patients (cleaning equipment and gathering supplies).
• Managing admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Coordinating patient flow using department-specific software and intranet.
• Providing one-on-one patient care related to safety or suicide precautions, if required.
