Summary of Job Duties: The Patient Care Technician works under the direction of licensed Nursing Staff and Physician. This position provides aid in direct patient care duties not requiring licensed staff to perform, assists patients with a variety of needs including administrative and clinical care, assist nurses and physicians with exams and procedures.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED PLUS successful completion of PCT course within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant Program

  • Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician

  • Previous experience in clinical setting


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Performs EKG's, set up for and assist provider with procedures and examinations Coordinates appointments, referrals, consults, tests and/or procedures -
