The role you’ll contribute:

The Patient Care Tech works under the supervision of the professional nurse, assisting in specific duties and activities of daily living for age-specific groups as outlined in the responsibilities. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable regulations. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all.

• Assists with safe and effective routine patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, skin care, nutritional and dietary needs, elimination, physical activity, and comfort measures, while respecting patient privacy.
• Performs basic patient care routines safely, competently, and cost-effectively, including:
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs, reporting abnormalities promptly.
• Collecting, reporting, and documenting intake and output accurately.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences needed to succeed:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification.
• Current Florida CNA license or EMT license.
