Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach seeks a capable Nursing Assistant for a night shift (7pm–7am). You will support nurses, monitor patient status, and ensure safe care across newborn, pediatric, and adult patients while adhering to infant security policies.

Required CPR and Florida CNA certification where possible; HS diploma preferred and 1 year of experience is desirable. The role includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• State of Florida Nursing Assistant Certification preferred; CPR Certification required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• One year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe environment and adheres to infant security policy.
• Assists nurses with transport and patient care duties.
• Cross trains as unit secretary and covers front desk as needed.
• Discontinues Foley catheters and meds locks as directed by RN.
• Prepares unit and rooms for admissions, transfers and post-operative patients.
• Takes vital signs and records them in patient charts promptly.
• Makes rounds at least every two hours and supports patient care.
