Job summary

St. Joseph's Health is seeking a dedicated staff member to deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform tasks not requiring nursing judgments or medication administration, including phlebotomy and EKG procedures.

The role includes training to work in CPEP, adherence to hospital standards, and routine participation in orientation and ongoing education. Heavy duties and weekend/holiday coverage are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical background, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Completes population specific competency annually as identified in scope of care and service.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
• Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgments or administration of medications.
• Phlebotomy and EKG duties; training to work in CPEP.
