Patient Care Technician PCU Full Time Nights

Join us as a Patient Care Technician PCU Full Time Nights at Tenet Healthcare.

Summary: The Patient Care Tech assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs. They serve as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCTs and are cross-trained as Unit Associate or Monitor Technician. They aid in maintaining a safe and clean unit environment and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Graduation or Equivalent and Nursing Assistant Course Work

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations:

• Nursing Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support (Basic EKG if cross-trained as a Monitor Technician)

Minimum Experience:

• Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience

Tenet complies with laws regarding mandatory vaccination. If applicable, proof of full vaccination or an approved exemption is required before start date.
