Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a multi-skilled technician for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in the United States. The position supports nurses by administering basic patient care under supervision and performing essential clerical and unit functions.

Responsibilities include taking measurements, delivering warm patient service, and collaborating with caregiving teams. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days), and prior health care

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency required.
• Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Must have some prior patient care/health care experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to read, write and explain or describe information to patients/customers and hospital staff.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take and record measurements or readings.
• Provide customer service in a warm and friendly manner.
• Provide patient care under the direction of an RN.
• Work collaboratively with other caregivers on the unit.
