The role you’ll contribute :

The Patient Care Tech works under the supervision of the professional nurse, assisting with specific duties and activities of daily living for age-specific groups. Adheres to AdventHealth’s Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable regulations. Actively participates in outstanding customer service, maintaining respectful relationships with all.

  • Assists with safe and effective routine care and activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, skin care, nutritional needs, elimination, physical activity, and comfort measures, while respecting patient privacy.
  • Performs basic patient care routines safely, competently, and cost-effectively, including:
    • Obtaining and documenting vital signs, reporting abnormal findings to the nurse promptly.
    • Collecting, reporting, and documenting intake and output accurately.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • BLS certification
  • Current Florida CNA or EMT license
