Day in the Life of a PCT:

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs under moderate supervision.
• Observe patient progress and report to nursing or medical staff.
• Obtain and record vital signs, collect lab specimens.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record intake/output, assist with range of motion, and draw blood.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Two years of experience in acute or long-term care
• Completion of CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school
