PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with daily patient care under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse. The role emphasizes basic patient support, mobility, feeding, and comfort measures in a hospital setting.

Duties exclude medication administration and independent patient-care responsibility, adhering to PAM Health policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
