Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

Select Specialty Hospital - Phoenix Downtown

Shift: Day shift, 6:30 am - 6:30 pm

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Tech (PCT), you will work alongside skilled clinicians and critical care nurses, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing routine patient care tasks including:

• Bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care using basinless products.
• Responding promptly to patient needs to enhance their physical well-being.
• Participating in hourly rounds.
• Transporting patients and assisting with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will demonstrate understanding of patient needs, ensuring patients feel informed and heard. You should be passionate about providing high-quality care and problem-solving in a dynamic environment. Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant, or related field such as a medical assistant or active nursing student.
