  • Department: Orthopedic Medical Unit
  • Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift 6:45 am - 7:15 pm - Monday - Friday 3x12 hour shifts.
  • Hospital: Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin
  • Location: 1201 West 38th Street, Austin TX 78705

Responsibilities

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Document necessary records.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

Hospital experience preferred
