The Brain and Spine Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent will become a destination Center of Excellence for all complex neurosurgical and spine care. This hospital will enhance access, quality, innovation, and patient experience with high quality, coordinated neurological and spine care

Benefit options and eligibility vary by position. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.

Responsibilities

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences

Previous Patient Care experience; PCT or CNA
