Emory Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Technician at Emory Midtown Hospital. This full-time position involves working 7pm - 7:30am, every other weekend, and rotating holidays, with a salary range of $15.75-$24.96.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and observation duties under the supervision of RN or LPN, including cleaning, operating clinical equipment, assisting with procedures, and transporting specimens.
• Maintain hospital-specific competencies.
• Assist in emergencies and ensure hygiene, comfort, and safety for patients.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
• Use medical devices and equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• Must meet one of the following:
• One year of patient care experience, or
• Completion of a nursing assistant course, or
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Georgia, or
• Current nursing student with two clinical rotations completed.
