Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The PCT performs patient care activities within the scope of the role but does not administer medications or therapies nor assume independent responsibility for patient care. All duties are carried out in accordance with PAM Health's policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: Preferred minimum of two (2) to three (3) years in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility.
