Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs various patient care activities and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The role does not include administering medications or therapies and does not involve independent patient care responsibilities. All duties are performed in accordance with PAM Health’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
