Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Provide top-tier care to patients in an acute care setting.
• Show off your technical skills - we'll help you build them through formal training.
• Work with a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
• Perform your duties with pride, aligned with our high standards and mission to provide excellent healthcare.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current BCLS certification when hired; certification must be kept current for continued employment.
• Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) training or demonstrate competency in required content areas, which may include:
• Being a former nursing or practical nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the licensure exam in the past three years;
• Possessing current certification as a nursing assistant per Missouri regulations;
• Having documented education as an emergency medical technician, medical assistant, or surgical technician;
• Having documented experience as a nurse assistant in the past three years;
• Having experience providing clinical care under supervision in a healthcare setting;

Exceptions to training requirements may be reviewed and approved by Nursing Leadership. UAPs from staffing agencies must meet position requirements. If the criteria are not met, direct patient care in outpatient procedures is prohibited.
