Baystate Health is hiring Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) across multiple inpatient departments at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Join our supportive nursing teams and gain hands-on clinical experience providing compassionate patient care, monitoring vitals, assisting with daily activities, and collaborating with nurses.

We offer Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem positions with day shifts primarily 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• At least one year of patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.
• Assist with patient safety, treatments, procedures, and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
