Avera St Luke's Hospital in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide routine patient care and support services under the guidance of nurses and physicians. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and help coordinate care across departments.

The role includes rotating 12-hour shifts, every third weekend and every other holiday, with a 72-hour biweekly schedule. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license is required or preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides safe and direct patient care: ambulating, bathing, positioning, feeding and attending to other care needs.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights and special needs.
• Greets all persons and assists with inquiries and messages.
• Assists with mobility and transfers, measures intake/output, and coordinates with departments for appointments.
• Performs clerical duties related to admissions, discharges, and chart preparation.
