Patient Care Technician PCT - Cardiology - 0.9 Day Shift - Henry Ford Warren Hospital

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

Responsibilities:
  1. Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  2. Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
  3. Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff and document necessary records.
  4. Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry preferred; any issuing authority accepted.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Completion of a certified nurse assistant (CNA) or patient care technician program.
  • Previous hospital or clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills are essential.
