Description

Schedule: 7am - 7:30pm / Full Time / 36 Hours per week. Candidate works every other weekend and rotating holidays. Salary range: $15.75 - $24.96.

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician for Emory Johns Creek Hospital responsible for providing quality patient care and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities include:
  • Performing patient care and observation duties under RN/LPN supervision, including cleaning, operating clinical equipment, assisting with emergencies, collecting specimens, and completing forms.
  • Maintaining hospital and unit-specific competencies.
  • Assisting in emergencies as directed by RN/LPN.
  • Providing hygiene, comfort, and rest measures.
  • Following infection control and safety standards.
  • Using medical devices and equipment such as bag-valve masks, stockings, oxygen, suction, spirometers, emergency carts, and glucose monitors.
  • Operating hospital equipment including beds, scales, wheelchairs, BP monitors, thermometers, pulse oximeters, and computers.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Must meet one of the following:
  • One year of direct patient care experience, or
  • Completion of a nursing assistant training course, or
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license through Georgia, or
  • Current enrollment in a nursing program with two clinical rotations completed.
