Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician at Clifton Springs Hospital in the Med/Surg department. This full-time role (36 hours per week) involves providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assisting with unit operations, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, aiding with mobility and daily activities, and supporting discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher preferred with CNA certification or Nursing Fundamentals training.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and assist with unit functioning.
• Participate as a member of the care delivery team.
• Maintain patient hygiene, nutrition, skin integrity and comfort.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers and discharge planning.
• May perform clerical duties related to patient charts.
