PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nurses by performing various patient care activities under supervision. You will work as part of a hospital team, ensuring patient comfort and safety, while adhering to policies and guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and current BLS certification, plus 2–3 years of experience in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities under the general supervision of a Registered or LVN/LPN.
• Provide accommodative services and assist with patient needs while following hospital policies.
• Do not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care.
