Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist with a range of patient care activities under the supervision of a nurse. The role does not involve administering medications or therapies and requires adherence to PAM Health policies and guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification, and 2–3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The PCT is responsible for performing various patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position and does not administer medications or therapy.
