Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA, CPCT, healthcare career program students, Mercy co-workers, or candidates age 18+ eligible for Mercy’s UAP training program.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• Completion of PCT competencies within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily care needs and activities
• Support nurses in providing high‑quality, individualized patient care
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non‑clinical support tasks
• Monitor patient comfort, safety, and well‑being
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to create outstanding patient experiences
