The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston seeks a Patient Care Technician to support compassionate cancer care, research, education, and prevention efforts. The role emphasizes organized workflow, strong communication, and flexible coverage across PACU areas.
Shift runs 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend rotation. Orientation is 6:30am–3pm for about eight weeks. Prior OR experience is preferred but not required; CNA upon hire is encouraged.
Seeking a Patient Care Technician to join one of the world's most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education and prevention.
The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible, and demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills ensuring every interaction with patients, families, and coworkers reflects compassion and respect. Prior procedural or operating room experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should feel confident floating to other PACU areas, as needed.
