Job Summary: A Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a support for nursing staff. Daily responsibilities include: vital signs, providing baths for patients, changing linens, passing meal trays, checking blood sugars, obtaining intake and output totals, assistant patients to restroom, documenting care provided in Electronic Medical Record.

Job Role Expectations: individuals passionate about caring for others though everyday basic physical needs, ability to multitask, ability to take direction, capability to remain calm in stressful situations, the aptitude to create a daily task list while remaining flexible in the task list for unexpected challenges

Qualifications

  • Education - High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience - no experience required
  • License/Certifications - Must maintain current BLS certifications (provided by Flowers Hospital)
