Location: Avera Creighton Hospital

Worker Type: Regular

Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends (United States of America)

Pay Range: $18.00 - $33.75 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience)

Position Highlights

Hours: Rotating shifts, 7pm-7am & 7am-7pm; 72hrs/2wks, Every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation

PCT Pay scale: $18.00 - $20.75 - $23.50

LPN pay scale: $24.50 - 29.13 - $33.75

A Brief Overview

The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members.

What You Will Do

• Collect data and conduct a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient.
• Participate with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient-centered health care plan.
• Implement nursing interventions within a patient-centered health care plan.
• Assist in the evaluation of responses to interventions.
• Provide for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly.
• Advocate for the best interest of the patient.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients and members of the health care team.
• Assist with health counseling and teaching.
• Delegate and assign nursing interventions to implement the plan of care.
