Brief Overview: The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members.
