Caring for a diverse patient population with acute care medical and surgical needs. Specializing in gynecology, breast surgeries including DIEP flap reconstruction, ENT, general surgery, and acute care patients with various medical diagnoses. Collaborates with Physician Surgical Residency Program to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• PCTs perform patient care and treatments under RN supervision, including activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection, and respiratory support as directed by the RN.
• Ability to lift, move, position, and transport patients.
• Meet department work schedule efficiently.
• Show initiative to improve quality of care, safety, and customer service.
• Team members under 18 may not operate mechanical lift equipment independently.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• 75-hour Certified Nursing Aid certification preferred.
• Level 3 Medium Work: exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
